How do I open an account online?

Certainly, you've heard that there is a bank you don't have to physically visit. We think, enough time has been wasted in traffic, searching for parking, waiting in line at the branch, and in signing piles and piles of documents, etc.

We are an online bank that gives you the opportunity to handle everything you need from us without having to set foot in the bank.

Of course, the first question that comes to mind is how to open an account without having to even see the bank. Thanks to modern technologies, this has become very accessible today, every working day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Here's how the process unfolds with us.

Before you start, all you need to do is this:

  • Settle into a well-lit room, free of noise and other people.
  • Prepare your ID card or passport with a visible address of residence.

When you’re ready, using a device equipped with a camera (phone, tablet, computer), go to our website and click on ‘Open an account online’.
A special window will then open where you choose the option ‘OPEN AN ACCOUNT NOW’. Before selecting this field, read all the details regarding the processing of personal data and the statement declaring whether you are a public official.

Then, enter your general personal information and confirm it once you have double-checked its accuracy.

Next, download the IDnow application, which you will use while communicating with our advisor. Don't be confused by the request to install this application - it is important to us that your data reaches the bank safely, and that's why we value communication through a secure channel like the IDnow application. Once you finish opening the account, you can uninstall the IDnow app from your device.

Next, you will communicate with our advisor. To ensure that you are the person opening the account, our advisor will ask you for a personal document. To verify that your picture is on the document, the advisor will briefly access the camera on your mobile phone - switching it from the back to the front.

After a brief conversation and identity verification the call will end. Following this is an exchange of e-mails to finalise the entire account opening process.

A Mastercard will be sent to the address you specify. This may be your home address or place of work, whichever suits you best.

You will see that opening an account online is not much different from creating an account on social networks. The process is intuitive and straightforward and saves you time, while allowing you to access your bank account from the comfort of home. And most importantly, you won’t need to take time off to get something done at the bank.
